REGIONAL RAIL & BUS ROUTES

 

Abington Township:

Abington Township is serviced by the Roslyn Station, located at Easton and Susquehanna Roads, which connects to the R2 Regional Rail Line. Roslyn Station is open Monday through Friday from 5:40 am to 12:00 pm. Additional stations in Abington Township include: Noble Station, located at the intersection of Old York Road and Rodman Avenue, with a connection to SEPTA Bus Route 55; Rydal Station, located at the intersection of Susquehanna Road and Washington Lane; and Meadowbrook Station, located at Mill Road and Lindsey Avenue. These stations offer service to the R3 Regional Rail line. Ardsley Station, located at Jenkintown Road and Tyson Avenue connects to the R2 Regional Rail line and SEPTA Bus Route 22. The North Hills Station services the R5 Regional Rail, provides connecting service to SEPTA Bus Route 98, and offers ticket sales Monday to Friday from 6:00a.m. to 12:55 p.m.

 

Cheltenham Township:

The Elkins Park Station, located at Park and Spring Avenues, as well as the Glenside Station, located at Easton Road and Glenside Avenue, are found in Cheltenham Township. The R1, R2, R3, and R5 Regional Rail lines as well as SEPTA Bus Route 28 service the Elkins Park Station. The Elkins Park ticket office is open Monday through Friday, 5:50 am to 1:10 pm. The Glenside Station is serviced by the R1, R2, and R5 Regional Rail lines and SEPTA Bus Routes 22 and 77. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 5:15 a.m. to 10:05 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. to 1:10 p.m.

Additionally, Cheltenham Township provides the Cheltenham Transit Bus as a service to its residents. The bus runs three days a week and is free for seniors. The bus is available to the general public, as well. Single ride tickets are $4.00, or a 10 trip ticket can be bought for $10. Schedule and map

Jenkintown Borough:

The Jenkintown-Wyncote Station is located at Greenwood and West Avenues and services the borough of Jenkintown. The R1, R2, R3, and R5 Regional Rail lines stop at the Jenkintown-Wyncote Station as well as SEPTA Bus Routes 55 and 77. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 5:20 a.m. to 10:05 a.m., 10:50 a.m. to 6:50 p.m., and Saturday from 7:50 a.m. to 2:20 p.m.

 

Springfield Township:

Located in Springfield Township, Oreland Station is at the intersection of Bridge Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. The station services the R5 Regional Rail line as well as SEPTA Bus Route 98. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 5:50 a.m.to 12:50 p.m. Springfield Township is also serviced by SEPTA Bus Routes L, 77, and 94.

 

Upper Dublin Township:

The SEPTA Fort Washington Station provides service to the R5 Regional Rail line as well as links to the 94, 98, 134 and 201 buses. There are bicycle storage units as well as 585 parking spaces on the lot. The ticket office is open Monday to Friday from 5:20 am to 12:45 pm.

 

Whitemarsh Township:

Whitemarsh Township is serviced by two train stations: Spring Mill Station at Station Avenue near Hector Street and Miquon Station at Manor and River Roads with service to the R6 Regional Rail Line. The Spring Mill Station connects to SEPTA Bus Route 97, with connecting service to the L or the 27. There is no ticket office at either of these stations.
