Transportation Improvement Projects

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) has put together an online mapping tool that provides information on projects in the current Transportation Improvement Program, or TIP. The TIP is the agreed-upon list of specific priority transportation projects. It lists all projects for which federal funds are anticipated as well as some non-federally funded projects that are regionally significant. The TIP is required by federal law, and it covers 4 years in PA. For a project to receive federal funds, it must be on the TIP.

For more information about the TIP, please read TIP Guide: A Guide for Municipal Officials, Special Interest Groups, and Citizens.
