MISSION:

To offer a forum in which the business community, municipal, county, and state officials can cooperatively address and seek a resolution of traffic related problems affecting the Southeastern Montgomery County area ( Abington, Cheltenham, Jenkintown, Rockledge, Springfield, Upper Dublin, Whitemarsh). By enhancing mobility and safety, through the reduction of congestion and pollution, the Southeastern Montgomery County Transportation Coalition helps to promote the area's orderly growth, sustain its quality of life, and ensure its continued economic vitality.

GVF Transportation, a not for profit public private partnership, formed the Southeastern Montgomery County Transportation Coalition in mid-2005, with their first meeting taking place later that year on October 12th. Our mission statement is:

To offer a forum in which the business community, municipal, county and state officials can cooperatively address and seek a resolution of traffic related problems affecting the South Eastern Montgomery County area (Abington, Cheltenham, Jenkintown, Rockledge, Springfield, Upper Dublin, and Whitemarsh). By enhancing mobility and safety, through the reduction of congestion and pollution, the Southeastern Montgomery County Transportation Coalition helps to promote the area’s orderly growth, sustain its quality of life, and ensure its continued economic vitality.

GVF Transportation currently manages three corridor coalitions, partners with PennDOT, SEPTA, the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, and the Montgomery County Planning Commission to address the region’s transportation issues.
